Northwich Rowing Club has a long tradition of racing both regionally and nationally. When we race away, we are representing not only the club, but also the town. It is therefore important that we look the part both on and off the water. In addition, crews (and coaches!) also get a strong sense of belonging and togetherness when they are all wearing the same kit (and it looks good on photos too!). It is also worth pointing out that British Rowing rules of racing state that competitors must wear clothing in club colours.

Please note the following:

J14s are not expected to purchase an All In One or the Five57 splash jacket. They will just need to purchase the yellow base layer from Buccaneer.

​

J15s and all other competing members are required to have the All In One from Stitch Rowing and the yellow base layer from Buccaneer as our standard racing kit.

​

New members are expected to purchase the yellow base layer from Buccaneer.

​

We politely ask that when racing, members wear either the NRC leggings from Stitch Rowing or plain black leggings.

​

We are not insisting that members purchase the Five57 splash jacket, but we suspect that they will become very popular over the coming months as they are both smart and functional.

​

Safety – It is now compulsory for everyone rowing at bow and single scullers to wear a Hi-Viz or bright yellow top. Ideally, we would like all members to have one and they are keenly priced on the Buccaneer website.

Five57
Our new lightweight, windproof, breathable splash jacket. It can be worn under an All In One for racing and is visible enough to be worn for training. It is also the same design as the base layer top available as part of the new range of kit from Buccaneer Promotions. The splash jacket can only be purchased when a club kit window has been opened. We anticipate the next window will now be early 2022. £80
